I love when a picture from a show includes just about every aspect of car culture. This car has Japanese monsters, German sports cars, a slammed Lexus, a Honda Hybrid that looks like it has a Mugen body kit :), some classic American steel, and even a lifted pick up truck.

You know I have gone to the Marin one with my Z, I haven't been to the SF C&C because I heard it's become really crowded and they charge money. Marin is cool, google their page, some old guys have old Lancias, Ferraris, a gullwing etc.. some interesting stuff. I have to finish my rear disk conversion before I take it anywhere at the moment.

Yeah, the 350Z should have had something like them.

It does look pretty awesome! The SF cars and coffee isn't that bad, especially in the winter. Also it's only $5, so it's not that expensive either :)

I don't care about the money to go in, it just gave me the impression is was going from casual to high end and really busy now. I suppose I will have to go at some point, there must be some cool people I guess. One time a guy brought a new McLaren to Marin and nobody really looked at it, he didn't even have plates yet, it just feels weird that they didn't work on the car, shows full of that bug me. At Marin even the guy with a Lancia they only made 200 of works on his car, I can talk to him about the weird louvred radiator thermostat thingy he had to fix from pictures.

It's true, there is some of that there with all the fancy brand new cars. But there are also a lot of old and modified cars with knowledgeable owners, so if you want to come out I think you'll like it :)
Here's a few of the older cars from the October event...

I will at some point. I have some work to do first. I still have drum brakes in the rear so I'm updating them with a kit.

I know this is from months ago but an oppo search for todays C&C on TI led me here. Gosh that Conti looks familiar. :)
